Kelly Clarkson Source debuted on April 2, 2006 and was run by Kevin.  However the site wasn’t always called Kelly Clarkson Source, it started out as Destined.  The site was hosted by Vinny at funk-n-soul.com and it wasn’t much, it had no pictures, no media, just basic news.  When Kevin ventured into the fansites world he wasn’t sure how it all worked so naturally the site started as nothing and grew as his knowledge grew.  Unfortunately the site closed when Vinny closed his site and when Kelly’s second album came about Kevin rebooted the site at fanwired.com with the new name Kelly Clarkson Source and domain kellysource.com.  However this was short lived as well.  Eric, the owner of fanwired.com suddenly disappeared and Kevin was forced to restart the site again, and this time moved to fan-sites.org where Gertie purchased the domain kellysource.org the sites current home.

Kelly Clarkson Source grew and grew and quickly became one of the best HQ Kelly sites on the web.  In May 2008, Kevin disappeared also, and I (Mel), was lucky enough to be able to adopt the site.  I did a huge re-vamp, converting the site to wordpress, re-organizing the site and gallery, and added so many new features to the site.  Kelly Clarkson Source prospered even further.  I went on to buy a gallery domain kellyhq.org but in April 2009, I was forced to part ways sadly with the site as I ventured into my own free fansite hosting.

Kelly Clarkson Source was then henceforth passed onto two sets of people, and went through some rough patches which was quite distressing for me to see as I continued to visit the site.  I decided to build my own Kelly site Ultimate Kelly Clarkson, but was never able to get it off the ground due to the demands of the hosting network.  KellyHQ.org also left Kelly Clarkson Source when I did.

In 2011, after realizing the Australian DMCA laws weren’t entirely safe, I merged The Fantorium Network (my free hosting site) back into fan-sites.org and was lucky enough to acquire Kelly Clarkson Source back, which I was so excited about, the site had quickly become my favorite and my baby, due to all the work I had put into it.  So my Kelly site I was building was merged into Kelly Clarkson Source and that meant that KellyHQ.org was back as the sites gallery domain and k-clarkson.org became and alternate url to the site.  I spent weeks cleaning the site back up and restoring it to its former glory and I hope to make Kelly Clarkson Source even stronger and better than ever.
